Light Quiche with Ham, Broccoli and Peas
I came across this recipe while watching one of my Russian cooking shows. I already posted a similar recipe few months ago from Alexandra, she wrote that her trip to Paris inspired her to cook it for her family. The idea inspired me too! This quiche sounded so easy to make and also looked like a great idea for a light dinner that I decided to give it a try. The light flaky crust and very delicate filling makes this quiche almost melt in your mouth. My husband liked it so much that he asked for a few more helpings, which is very unusual for him since he is a picky eater. This recipe could also be great for a breakfast idea for someone who would like to surprise their loved one for the coming Valentine’s Day.
For about 6 servings you will need:
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 1 egg
• 6 tablespoons of melted butter
• salt and sugar to taste

• 1 cup pees
• 2 cloves diced garlic
• 4 eggs
• 1 cup sour cream
• 2 tablespoon honey mustard or Dijon mustard
• salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl combine together one egg, butter, salt, sugar and flour.
Form a ball and set it aside.
Now make a cream. Whisk together eggs, sour cream, mustard, salt and pepper set it aside.
Prepare the filling: mix ham, broccoli, and pees.
Roll your dough and place it on the bottom of the baking pan and spread it around by pushing into the form.
Put your broccoli, ham and peas in.
Pour your whisked cream on top of the filling
and transfer it into the oven for about 40 minutes or until the cream sets and broccoli turns a light golden color.
Serve hot or warm and Enjoy!
