Lemon and Herb Grilled Fish
When it is hot outside like today 101F, I am not going to fire up the stove and cook in the kitchen. I love to have something light and tasty when it is hot like this, and this is why a whole Tilapia with Soy sauce – Honey Stir – fried Vegetables will fulfill my desire for a light dinner.
Cooking a whole fish is very easy, you cannot spoil it even if it is your first ever recipe being made. It is also a very simple meal and sometimes easy things can look like a masterpiece!
For one serving you will need:
- 1 whole fresh Tilapia or Trout
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons Himalayan salt
- Crashed black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dry Italian herbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat the grill to high. Clean fish with damp paper towel and cover it evenly with the mixture of olive oil, Himalayan salt, pepper and dry Italian herbs. Slice 1/2 lemon into ¼ “pieces and stuff it inside and spread it also on top of the fish.
Cover fish in foil and put aside for 5-7 minutes to marinade then place on the grill for 25 minutes until well cooked.
Squeeze juice from 1/2 lemon and serve.
