Fried Cauliflower with Parmesan Cheese
Cauliflower is one of these vegetables that is rich with vitamin C, antioxidants and support our system with anti-inflammatory benefits. It is important do not overcook Cauliflower in order lock in of all of these good sources. Baking, frying or steaming is some of the best ways to prepare this vegetable. Boiling it can make it mushy and tasteless. This recipe is a great way to use Cauliflower as a side dish or as a meal itself.
- 1 Cauliflower
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 tablespoon of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Italian or plain breadcrumbs
- 2 cups of any frying oil
- Parsley for garnish
- Shredded Parmesan cheese for garnish
Heat the oil in frying pan on medium temperature. Separate each floret from the Cauliflower head.
In the mixing bowl the beat eggs with salt and water.
Pour bread crumbs into a shallow dish. Dip each floret in egg mixture first and then roll in breadcrumbs.
Fry at medium heat on each side until golden brown.
Serve Cauliflower sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
