East End Market – Orlando, Florida
This Interesting Market Place was recommended to me by one of my alumni. He gave me a list of unique places that I am planning to visit and share what I find with you.
The East End Market is a great place to visit; it reminds me of a tourist place in San Francisco Pier 9 and Ghirardelli Square which is pronounced as GEAR-A deli. These places have a lot in common: it is the atmosphere, the small local artisan shops, and small cafeteria type restaurants – all of them selling something unique.
When you first arrive to East End Market you will see n a nice sitting area – outside area. It is a two story building but most shops are located downstairs.
Before you walk in to the market you will see numerous cactus and fern arrangements looking over a small siting area. Inside you will find many other miniature to large arrangements of flowers which can become a great table or home center piece for upcoming holidays.
This whole place looks like a mini market place when you walk inside you find many scattered small artisan shops.
There is a nice juice bar area, with the bar style sitting, selling fresh squeezed juices.
In the corner located a coffee bar selling amazing Argentinean coffee.Down the hall area you will find a similar shop offering fresh brewed teas. This coffee shop has its own small seating area on the back as well.
Then there is a small sushi bar with a seating area where you can watch the sushi chefs standing in the middle making fresh rolls and their sushi which look somewhat different than what I normally would find anywhere else.
The BBQ sauces shop has a sampling stand letting you experience the flavor of each of the sauces in the shop.
Their dessert and cheese stands look amazing, believe me you will be tempted to try what is on display, it looks yummy!
They have a fresh bakery shop where we purchased our favorite sour dough bread. We tried it at home it is dense and had a slight sour taste.
When you walk outside of the building you will find more seating area with umbrellas facing toward a garden with fresh herbs.
My family will defiantly visit this place again!
