Blueberry and Chocolate Banana Bread
Sunday morning is always a easy and lazy time in our family. It is a tradition in our family too to have a breakfast together and always trying to make a nice breakfast that everybody would enjoy it. This Sunday I decided to treat my family with very delusions and very moist Banana Bread. My husband likes breakfast bread with blueberries and berries while our daughter and I like banana bread with walnuts and chocolate, so I decided to please everyone’s preferences. I made two loafs of Banana Bread with the filling that everyone will enjoy.
For two Banana Bread loafs you will need:
• 2 large rape bananas
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
• 1 3/4 cups of flour
• 1/3 cup of milk
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
• 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
• 4 ounces of semi-sweet dark chocolate
In large mixing bowl mix together flour, eggs, melted butter, baking soda and vanilla. Mash bananas and add them into the flour mixture together with milk. Mix all the ingredients together and then divide the batter into two. Add blueberries to one part of the mixture and chopped walnuts to another.
Pour your blueberry batter into the greased bread pan.
Melt chocolate for 30 seconds in the microwave then mix then heat it for another 30 seconds and mix it again until it will completely melted.
Pour half of the walnut mixture into the greased bread pan then spoon melted chocolate and then pour another half of the batter and top it with the rest of the chocolate.
Bake bread at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until wooden stick will come out clean.
Cool bread for 15 minutes and then serve warm with butter and fresh blueberries. Enjoy!
